Bespoke for us is about designing something that enhances your home - pieces you’ll want to show off, not hide away once the Kidd’s are in bed; pieces that can evolve with your family and endure through the different ages and stages.
Our bespoke woodwork pieces begin with you: your child(ren), your home, your style.
We like to get your Kidd’s involved in the creative process - after all, if they helped ‘design’ it, then they’re more likely to love and cherish it.
We call ourselves ‘architects for little people’ because creating a successful piece is all about making sure both the Kidd’s and parents love it. That’s why we get Kidd’s involved in the design process by encouraging them to send us their own sketches so we can bring their ideas to life.
But it’s not just the Kidd’s we want to please, we want the parents to be so proud of their bespoke piece that they want it to take pride of place in their home - not always confined to the Kidd’s room or hidden away at the end of the day. That’s why we design many of our pieces to evolve - like our changing table which evolves into a coffee table tray; or our blackboard table which converts into a picture frame. Beautiful things that endure and evolve. That’s what Kidd & Bear Bespoke is all about.
Wood is of course our beginning, but it certainly isn’t our end. With our expertise in interior design we recognise that “the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts” so incorporating new and exciting materials into our designs can create incredible synergy. With that in mind, our furniture can be made in any wood or colour finish, with a multitude of accents (i.e. a copper detail or your favourite colour wallpaper) or wild and wacky handles on a nursery cabinet - the possibilities are endless.
We know costs are really important (little people are expensive!) so we’re happy to give you a cost for our bespoke pieces as well as work to your budget wherever feasible.
